7 Destinations To Add To Your Europe Travel Wishlist
Who’s up for some travel inspiration and a serious wanderlust boost? I hope you are because I’m about to introduce you to 7 destinations I think you should seriously consider adding to your travel wishlist if you haven’t already.
In this post, I will be focusing on Europe as this is the only continent that I had an opportunity exploring a bit so far. From all the places I have visited so far I can say that there were ones that I fell in love with from the first sight and there were those that slowly made their way to my heart. Today I decided to put them all into one list and share them with you. I know that some of you will fall in love with those places as well. So without further do, let’s get to this list! I represent you 7 destinations that need to be added to your Europe travel list:
Prague, Czech Republic | Oh, Prague! How I missed this gorgeous city and its phenomenal architecture. There isn’t any valid reason why you shouldn’t visit this beauty. Prague is rich in history, architecture and beautiful landscapes. Also, let’s not forget how perfect it is for a little getaway with all the little cafes, parks, shopping malls, monuments and delicious food. Trust me when I say that Prague should be on top of your list when it comes to the places you might want to visit in Europe.
Gdansk, Poland | Another little gem in the middle of Europe. Gdansk is famous for its colourful and extraordinary architecture. It’s a city by the sea and I think that’s enough of an argument to go there. You can have a nice walk around the Sopot, stroll around the old town, have a delicious beer with a syrup, go on a Ferris wheel to take a look at the beautiful city from above, go amber shopping or simply enjoy the tranquillity of the city. If I think about a good option for a weekend getaway, Gdansk comes to my mind first.

Vilnius, Lithuania | I just couldn’t exclude my country from this list. Lithuania isn’t very well-known but it doesn’t make it any less worthy a visit than other countries. Vilnius is a capital of Lithuania and it is simply amazing. At first, I wasn’t very keen on it but it grew on me during the last few years. It is such a diverse city full of beautiful buildings, little corners, handcrafts stores, small cafes, restaurants, theatres, parks and lovely sceneries. While at Vilnius, don’t forget to visit a castle of Trakai which is a must visit spot in Lithuania. It’s not so far away from Vilnius and it is a sight to see.
Paphos, Cyprus | If you are looking for a nice beach holiday or if you are a bit of a history fanatic, Cyprus is where you should go next. It has everything you need. Seriously. Sea, hot weather, guys with a British accent, wild nightlife and a lot of historical places to visit if that’s what floats your boat. I recommend adding Paphos to your list for its archaeological museum, tombs and ruins. I wrote about my trip there last year, so you can check out those posts here if you wish to find out more.

Berlin, Germany | I only have been to Berlin for two days but boy did it leave me speechless. I cannot wait for the next time I go there. Berlin is everything you need for an unforgettable trip. The Berlin Wall, Christmas Markets, German food, diverse and alternative culture, insane nightlife and a hell lot of history are the things that should convince you that Berlin is the place. I could go on and on about it but just check out some of the links below and thank me later. You don’t want to miss this city.

Tallinn, Estonia | Tallinn is one of those cities that you wouldn’t think of visiting before you actually step your feet in it. The city has a medieval feeling for its castles, towers and walls that are still left in the middle of the city. Also, it’s a coast city, so you have a perfect opportunity to enjoy not only city life but relax by the beach as well. The food is simply delicious, the prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is incredible. Plus you need to try Estonian candies. Tallinn has everything you can possibly want for a nice holiday, so if you enjoy history, beautiful sights and excellent food, Tallinn is where you should be going to next.

Crete, Greece | Last but not the least, Crete, the beautiful island of Greece. I love everything about this island. Beaches are fantastic and incredibly beautiful, take a look at Elafonissi or Balos if you don’t believe me. The water is crystal clear, there are sandy beaches and perfect weather for a nice tan. If you enjoy hiking, there is Samaria Gorge for it. If you have a soft spot for food, you will love Greek food. Also, the island is known for its hospitality and I can confirm that the people are lovely there, so welcoming and friendly.
