It’s no secret that the USA is on my bucket list. The more I read about it, the more I want to visit the U.S.A. So today I decided to write a blog post about places that I’d love to visit in one of the coolest states: Massachusetts.
I read a fair share of articles about Massachusetts, and here’s what I came up with:
#1: Martha’s Vineyard
It’s a lovely island located in the Atlantic Ocean, and it’s featured in all Massachusetts travel guides and recommendations. The island is home to many lighthouses, harbour towns, sandy beaches, and farmland. If I were to visit Massachusetts, I would love to experience this island for myself.
Okay, you probably know by now that I love “Hocus Pocus” and everything related to Halloween, so it should come as no surprise that I’d love to visit a few filming locations from the movie. I’m sure Salem has more to offer than Max and Dani’s house or John Bailey High School, but finding those spots would definitely be a priority.
#3: The Berkshires
I’m always up for a little hike, and this place sounds like a perfect one for a short hiking trip. Mountains and beautiful scenery? Count me in! Also, I heard that the Berkshires are home to tons of festivals, so that’s even better.
How can you travel to Massachusetts without visiting Boston? There are so many places I’d love to explore in Boston, including the Freedom Trail, the Museum of Fine Arts, the Back Bay, the Boston Public Garden, and all those quirky streets. I feel like I’d need few days to explore Boston fully.
Cambridge is the home of Harvard. How many of you dreamed of studying at this phenomenal university? I know I have. I’d love to explore Cambridge for at least a day. The MIT Museum and a stay somewhere around Harvard Square are definitely at the top of my list of things I’d do in Cambridge.
#6: Heritage Museum and Gardens
This place is considered one of the most beautiful places in Massachusetts. If you love flowers and a bit of history, you’ll love the Heritage Museum and Gardens. As it turns out, I love a good history lesson and a nice opportunity to photograph nature. This place is definitely on my list.
#7: Bash Bish Falls
There’s something about waterfalls that’s so alluring. Bish Bash Falls look amazing in all the photos that I’ve seen, so I won’t miss an opportunity to take a good shot of these if I ever end up in Massachusetts. Plus, maybe I could plan a hike somewhere nearby.
Pin this and save it for later!
That’s all for now! This is kind of a bucket list of all the places I really want to explore in Massachusetts. I’m sure there are many more attractions in Massachusetts, so I’d love to hear your recommendations!
Have you ever visited any of these places?
What cities or attractions do you want to visit in Massachusetts?
