9 Movies I Used To Be Obsessed With

Hello! Today I decided to share something fun with you all. And you probably guessed from the title above that it is going to be a list of movies I loved as a teen. I used to be so obsessed with some ridiculous movies now that I think about it. Some are still one of my favorites, but some just make me go ‘why?!’.

High School Musical | This one got to be my all-time favorite teen movie. I remember how I used to watch all the movies with my friend and we used to sing along to ALL the songs there are. I even learned to do Sharpay’s ritual! You know the one that goes like brr, brr, mah! Haha, good times, good times.

Camp Rock | I was way too into musical movies and Disney. Camp Rock obsession came after HSM – High School Musical if you didn’t know already –  and it was the best discovery at that time! I remember I got my brother hooked on it too and we used to watch it at least once a week. From then on I developed a huge girl crush on Demi Lovato – by the way, she is absolutely gorgeous and smashing it now!

Bring It On | This movie was the one that got me into dancing. Even now I sometimes watch it just for fun. Basically, a perfect chick-flic that involves dancing. Good dancing. I watched all movies of it, then made all of my friends watch it and then we all watched it, haha. And I just recently realised that Ashley Benson was in one of the movies!

Wild Child | If you haven’t seen this movie, then you were missing out for sure! It was so damn hilarious back then. It was the first movie I saw starring Emma Roberts. She was absolutely amazing and I even wrote a short story inspired by this movie when I was about 15, I think. Don’t worry, I am not going to share that masterpiece because it’s way too cringe worthy.

The Lizzie McGuire Movie | This is where my Hilary Duff obsession came from. It was my favourite movie when I was around 11 or 12, can’t remember. It was the best movie in my mind at that time. Now when I think about it, it’s not a very good movie. But shout out to Hilary Duff for being amazing actor and singer!

Mean Girls | The movie that probably every girl on this planet has seen at least one time. Probably one of those movies that you either love or hate. Even if you hated the movie, you still are using their references such as “you can’t sit with us” or “on Wednesdays we wear pink/black”. I was one of those people who did love it.

Every Amanda Bynes movie ( What A girl wants, She’s the man, Sydney White and etc. ) | I absolutely adored Amanda and her acting and characters she played. I watched ALL of them and I LOVED them all too. Now when I think about it, the only movie that I still love and think is amazing is She’s The Man. It will never get old for me! Sad that Amanda herself went downhill fast, but I am very happy to hear that she is getting better. Hope she only goes up from now on.

Big Fat Liar | Oh God. I literally had a crush on Frankie Muniz when I was 13. I watched all his movies (loved Agent Cody Banks movies a lot) and this one I watched the most. It was one of those never-get-old movies at that time. Don’t mind watching it now, but I am not obsessed with it for sure and I can assure you that I do not have a crush on Frankie anymore for sure.

Spy Kids | I freaking loved these movies! They were incredible and made me wish to be a spy. I watched all parts at least 5 times and I still watch it if it’s on tv. Probably the second best childhood/teen years movie. First is always HSM, hands down. And can I just say how gorgeous Alexa Vega is?!

There was one more movie that I really loved, but I can not recall the name of it. Was it something about wild chickens? I remember watching it few times on my tv and completely falling in love with it. It was about few girls who had chickens as pets (at least I think that’s what they were) and it was about friendship and happy childhood. Overall, a beautiful movie that I would like to see again. Sadly, I do not remember how it’s called.
